The complexity of Local Government has necessitated major change in operational management techniques. However, much of the work is also managed through discrete projects with specific objectives. Often the projects may involve teams drawn from different departments or even different organisations complicating the scenario. Projects range in size from a departmental issue to preparation for Local Government re-organisation. This course will develop the skills necessary to manage and implement projects to cost, time and quality target.
