Local Authorities depend on the ability of employees to interact with each other and with those outside the organisation. People need to be aware of the effect of what they say and do. Assumptions that we make about behaviour are often at the root of problems and conflicts that arise in organisations.
This workshop helps people to understand what happens in a typical face-to-face communication. It provides input on effective listening and awareness of non-verbal communication. Participants will learn to be more skilled communicators and this highly participative course will concentrate on the practical concerns and problems of participants.
